Typhus Showcase

Here's my attempt at doing justice to my favourite W40k character, the Herald of Nurgle, Typhus the Traveller. I basecoated him Scorched Brown, and sponged on Bubonic Brown before using the hairspray and salt method on him. Once the salt was applied, he was then sprayed with Graveyard Earth, and a highlight spray of Dhenab Stone, before I rubbed off the salt, showing the rusty browns underneath. A splodgey (yes, that's the technical term) wash of Gryphonne Sepia was splodged over all parts, including the Chainmail pipes, and Dwarven Brass trim, then after a good gloss varnish, a heavy brown/black oil wash was applied. The final highlights were done with Dhenab Stone and Mithril silver.
